Well it looks like Buehrle will pitch the first 2 innings and then Hutch will take over. TB pitcher is a lefty and the Jays love lefties.
Race to 4 runs. TOR -1.10 1 unit.
Hutch is terrible on the road so I hope the Jays get to Moore early and often before Hutch gives it all up. lol. lol.

That's not a bad idea going race to 4. Get the payout before they decide which closers to go with.

Ya it all goes back about 6 weeks when TOR went on a tear and were too expensive on the ML. So I had to find another way to bet on Jays games. I noticed for the full month of September the Jays were scoring 4 runs faster than their opponents and showed a nice profit. I figured it was better than laying the - 1.5 runs and at the same price.

I understand trying to give Buehrle his 200 innings but at what expense!! Grand slam TB. Score 6-0 first inning. Buehrle has a dead arm and has had this for his last 4 starts. I was wrong in thinking he would manage the first 2 innings. Now TOR is going to lose this game and probably home field advantage!! Crazy.
What a shame. The Jays were built to play at the Rogers Center. Nowhere else and they just squandered that advantage.
And now Buehrle gives up another run and they pull him. All for what!!!! Talk about bad management!

OUCH!
I think the coaches that make decisions to leave in / take out pitchers are out to lunch.
I'm not trying to be an armchair pro or anything, but after 4 years playing and 4 years umpiring the game, I feel like I get to have an opinion. And my opinion is they leave these guys on the bump way too long. You'll see it because they'll float a sinker high in the strike zone and get punished for it. Then, it's downhill from there. They can't paint corners any longer, they run up the count, and that's all there is to it. There will be 3 hits in 5 innings, and then 2 in a row in the 5th. Time to pull. I rarely see pitchers pull it back together.
That said. Given Toronto's record, I think it was a deliberate decision to give Buehrle a chance. It wasn't a professional decision, it was a personal one.
I can see where they're coming from. If he got the team there, the team owes them that much.
That's just how I see it though.
